This is a lot of watch for the money!

The Jowissa watches caught my attention several times during my Swiss business travels in the past, and I finally took the plunge to order one online from USA, sight unseen.

The overall experience is outstanding! The ordering/shipping process is simple, fast, and free!. Once I received the piece, I was pleasantly surprised with the design, and quality of it. I view Jowissa as a fashion brand, and yet my new watch invokes so many of the feelings/appreciationsI have with the Swiss luxury brands. For example, the lug shape is inspired by vintage watches, often seen in modern Omega Speedies, Tissot Le Locle Powermatics, Breitling Navitimers...etc. The aesthetics is excellent; the details of the face, and contrast of the sub-dials gives it a much more 3-dimension feel. The leather band is high quality, substantial, and should age gracefully; the band's quick-release mechanism is genius, and in my view a must-have if you want more options for your watch. The 40mm case diameter and color combo works well on my 165mm circumference wrist in an understated, and yet intriguing manner.

For full transparency, I did find luminescent watch hands to be on the dimmer side, but it doesn't detract from my fashion-oriented purpose with this watch. My initial purchase did encountered a performance issue, most likely due to international shipping, but Simon from Jowissa took care of it in the usual straightforward Swiss way, thank you!

I will definitely buy more Jowissa watches, probably in the LeWy and Magno line per my taste. Cheers to your new find with Jowissa.

What is the meaning of the brand name Jowissa?
The name Jowissa is derived from the name of company founder Josef Wyss. He founded the business in Bettlach, Switzerland, in 1951, and Jowissa has operated continuously since then.
How long will the battery of my watch last?
The expected battery life is 2 to 4 years depending on external factors like heat and cold. Jowissa uses standard silver oxide battery cells in combination with high quality and low energy consuming Swiss quartz movements.
Can I adjust the length of my steel or ceramic bracelet?
Yes, the length of our steel and ceramic bracelets can be adjusted to fit an individual wrist size. When you order with jowissa.com we shorten the bracelet for you free of charge. Optionally your local watch dealer may also offer the bracelet adjustment as a service.
Is my watch water resistant?
A Jowissa watch is tested for water resistance from 3 to 30 ATM, depending on the collection.
3 ATM: Watches tested to 3 ATM should not be worn while bathing or showering. They are built to withstand light rain, perspiration and brief contact with water.
5 ATM: Watches tested to 5 ATM are designed to withstand rain, perspiration and brief contact with water. They are not intended for swimming or diving.
10 ATM: Suitable for swimming and other surface water activities. Not intended for diving.
20 ATM: Suitable for swimming, water sports and recreational diving.
Always follow the water-resistance rating and product specifications for your exact model.
Can I change the watch band on my Jowissa watch?
Yes. Many Jowissa watches use interchangeable bands, and selected bands have a quick-release system that can be changed without tools. Other straps or bracelets may require a spring-bar tool or a watchmaker. Before ordering, check the band width and attachment type for your watch.
What is a chronograph?
A chronograph is a watch with a built-in stopwatch function. Pushers on the case start, stop and reset the chronograph without interrupting normal timekeeping. Separate hands or subdials display the measured seconds and, depending on the model, minutes or hours.
