Excellent men's watch, the larger than normal case is completely made of high quality stainless steel, including the strap. Really elegant and original design. I must say that it is a product with excellent quality materials, excellent value for money. The stainless steel construction and its water resistance up to 5 meters deep allow it to be immersed in water, it resists rain and splashes of water. Also inside the analog dial, there is also the date mechanism. Personally I use it to go out and I can match it with any dress. I advise!

I was recently on a tour in Europe earlier this month. One of our stops included Lucerne. I was this particular watch on a shop close by a beautiful church. We went to the church and after that I was planning to stop at the shop where I saw this watch. The store had already closed for the day. Well, I left Lucerne thinking about the watch. As my tour progressed, I kept looking for another shop that had that same watch. I never did find it. Well, I got home a 2 weeks later and decided to go on-line to look for the watch. I found it and ordered it. I am very pleased with my beautiful watch. It's gorgeous!

What is the meaning of the brand name Jowissa?
The name Jowissa is derived from the name of company founder Josef Wyss. He founded the business in Bettlach, Switzerland, in 1951, and Jowissa has operated continuously since then.
How long will the battery of my watch last?
The expected battery life is 2 to 4 years depending on external factors like heat and cold. Jowissa uses standard silver oxide battery cells in combination with high quality and low energy consuming Swiss quartz movements.
Is my watch water resistant?
A Jowissa watch is tested for water resistance from 3 to 30 ATM, depending on the collection.
3 ATM: Watches tested to 3 ATM should not be worn while bathing or showering. They are built to withstand light rain, perspiration and brief contact with water.
5 ATM: Watches tested to 5 ATM are designed to withstand rain, perspiration and brief contact with water. They are not intended for swimming or diving.
10 ATM: Suitable for swimming and other surface water activities. Not intended for diving.
20 ATM: Suitable for swimming, water sports and recreational diving.
Always follow the water-resistance rating and product specifications for your exact model.
Can I change the watch band on my Jowissa watch?
Yes. Many Jowissa watches use interchangeable bands, and selected bands have a quick-release system that can be changed without tools. Other straps or bracelets may require a spring-bar tool or a watchmaker. Before ordering, check the band width and attachment type for your watch.
Can I wash my leather band with water?
Leather bands should not be washed with water. For cleaning your strap refer to your local watch dealer to get a special leather cleaning product.
What is PVD coating?
Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) is a vacuum process used to apply a very thin coloured or protective coating to metal watch parts. It creates a smooth, durable finish, but it is not scratch-proof and can wear over time, especially on edges and other high-contact areas. Avoid abrasives, chemicals and impacts, and clean the surface with a soft cloth.
